Stage6 Cylinder Kit 70cc Sport Pro MK2 – 10mm Pin – Minarelli Horizontal AC (Yamaha Neo’s / MBK Ovetto)
The successor to the extremely popular Sport Pro MK1, the MK2 version takes performance and durability to the next level. Designed for 50cc scooters with Minarelli horizontal air-cooled engines such as the Yamaha Neo's and MBK Ovetto, this 70cc aluminium cylinder kit delivers impressive sport performance combined with excellent reliability.
The MK2 cylinder has been completely redesigned. It now features 6 transfer ports instead of 5, significantly improving cylinder filling and overall efficiency. The oval exhaust port has been further optimized, while the exterior design is inspired by the pentagonal styling of the Stage6 R/T cylinders.
The one-piece cylinder head includes cast scavenging channels for improved heat dissipation. The supplied piston is based on the R/T design, featuring a domed piston crown and a thin 0.8 mm piston ring for enhanced performance and improved thermal stability.
Compared to the MK1, the Sport Pro MK2 delivers 2–3 hp more power, reaching approximately 14–17 hp when combined with the appropriate setup. It offers an excellent balance between maximum performance and durability, making it a top choice in the sport tuning segment.
To fully exploit the cylinder’s potential, we recommend:

Installation & Setup Recommendations
Before installation, thoroughly clean the engine and check the condition of all components. It is advisable to use a new spark plug and a new small end bearing. Carburetor settings must be adjusted accordingly.
Recommended squish clearance : 0.75 – 0.85 mm
Break-in period : approx. 300 km with a 1:33 premix ratio
