Stage6 Streetrace 86/88cc cast-iron cylinder kit for Minarelli AM6 engines.

Known for scooter tuning components, Stage6 has also developed performance parts for geared mopeds, including Supermoto models.

The kit contains :

• 88cc cast-iron cylinder with a 50mm bore, five transfer ports and a 28mm exhaust outlet
• 50mm two-ring piston; a one-piece
• High-compression aluminium cylinder head
• Gaskets

Its increased displacement is designed to improve acceleration, top speed and overall engine output. The cast-iron construction is suited to intensive use.

For a balanced setup, Stage6 recommends a PWK carburetor, VForce3 reed valve, a racing exhaust such as the Stage6 Streetrace low-mount, a reinforced clutch and, if appropriate, an internal-rotor ignition such as the MVT Digital Direct.

Displacement depends on the crankshaft setup :

• 44mm stroke with an 85mm connecting rod and no spacer: 86cc.
• 45mm stroke with a 90mm connecting rod and spacer: 88cc.

Run in the cylinder for 300km without full throttle. A 3% two-stroke oil mixture (1:33) is recommended. The cylinder resembles a standard part and bears a “49ccm” stamp, but it is an 88cc kit and may not be road legal.

Note : when using a crankshaft with a 90mm connecting rod, you'll have to use longer M7x118mm stud bolts. Installation does not require crankcase modification.
