The Stage6 Sport MK2 is the evolution of the legendary MK1 cylinder kit, which gained massive popularity among scooter tuners. With a completely redesigned layout, improved performance, and outstanding durability, the MK2 takes everyday and sport setups to a new level.

Design and Construction

The MK2 features a newly developed cylinder with 6 transfer ports instead of 5, providing optimized cylinder filling. The oval exhaust port has been refined for better gas flow, and the R/T-inspired pentagonal design gives it a distinctive, racing look.
The one-piece cylinder head includes cast scavenging channels for improved heat dissipation, while the piston, modeled after the R/T version, has a domed crown and a 0.8mm piston ring to enhance performance and thermal stability.

Performance

Compared to the MK1, the MK2 delivers 2–3 hp more, reaching between 14–17 hp depending on setup — without additional modifications. Designed for high power and reliability, it sets new standards in the sport and mid-race segment.

For optimal results, we recommend using a reinforced crankshaft, at least a 19mm carburetor, and a sport or racing exhaust system.

Installation Tips

• Clean the engine thoroughly before installation. 
• Use a new spark plug and small end bearing.
• Adjust your carburetor settings after installation.
• Maintain a squish clearance of 0.75–0.85mm.
• Run-in period: approx. 300 km with a 1:33 mixture for maximum durability.
